A colorful identity, simplified.

Brand standards can be difficult to maintain, especially when rolled out globally. Working on an independent identity design team embedded within eBay’s internal brand team, I helped distill and redefine the eBay brand. We produced an extensive guidelines website called Playbook, where I steered overall tone, delivered robust voice and tone guidelines, and came up with several launch activations.

We opened with simple questions as a disarming way to introduce a whole bunch of new brand resources.

And kept that conversational tone throughout the surprisingly deep and useful brand guidelines site.
